Crosswalk.com is reporting that Gospel for Asia founder P. K. Yohannan has translated Chuck Smith’s teaching CD’s into the Hindi language.

According to Yohannan, “…we want at least a hundred-thousand pastors to get a set of these CDs and we'll be providing them eventually with a CD player so they can listen to a section of the Scripture, they can study it, and they teach it the next Sunday. So that way the Word of God will become the means for people to grow in their faith. So, for us, this is one of the most exciting things we have been involved in and, after one year of hard work, we have got it done. This project is Pastor Chuck Smith teaching through the Bible; Genesis to Revelation; chapter by chapter; line by line.”

Having received Jesus Christ as Saviour and Lord at Calvary Chapel in the “Big Tent” I have personally benefited from the ministry of Chuck Smith. To see this ministry expand across the United States, Russia, Europe, Japan, and around the world, is yet another way God has continued to bless the teaching of the Word.

To see Chuck remain the simple man of God he has always been, has been a blessing. All too often, men used by God in such ways begin to focus attention upon themselves, as if they were the source of blessing. However, Chuck remains the same, a simple man with a simple message. Who knows what the future holds for the ministry of Calvary Chapel? Only God knows, and we wait in anticipation to see what’s next.
